Privacy Notice for Businesses We Contact

Last updated: September 2026

If you received a message from us about your Google reviews, or opened a link to a report about your business, this notice explains what we hold about you and why. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers who we are, your rights and our ICO registration.

1. Who we are

DriveMoreReviews.com is operated by W W Media, the data controller for the information described here. Our ICO registration number is ZC105203. Contact us at support@drivemore-reviews.com.

2. What we hold about your business

  • Business name, trade and town
  • Your public Google review count and star rating, and the same figures for other businesses in your trade and town, which is how the report is built
  • Contact details published on your Google listing or website: phone number, website address and, where listed, an email address
  • Whether and when you opened the report link, and the browser used, so we know whether the message reached anyone
  • Anything you give us on the report page: an address to send the report to, or contact details if you ask to hear when your position changes

We do not hold names of individuals, home addresses, financial information or anything about your customers.

3. Where it came from

Everything in section 2 that we did not get from you directly came from your public Google Business Profile listing and the public listings of other businesses in your area, collected by an automated listing-data service. We do not buy contact lists and we do not use the Google Places API for this.

4. Why we hold it and our lawful basis

We hold it to tell local businesses how their Google review count compares with nearby competitors and to offer them our service. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): a small, relevant business-to-business message about a matter you can act on, built from information you have already chosen to publish, with a clear way to say no.

We contact a business a small number of times at most. We do not contact you again once you ask us not to.

If you tick the box on the report page asking to hear when your position changes, we rely on your consent for those messages instead. We record the exact wording you agreed to, when, and from where. You can withdraw at any time by the routes in section 7.

5. How long we keep it

  • Business and review data — kept for 12 months from the date we last read your listing, then deleted, unless you become a customer or ask to hear from us.
  • Opt-out record — if you ask us not to contact you, we keep the phone number, email or website you gave us on a do-not-contact list for as long as we operate, because that is how we make sure we honour it.
  • Consent record — kept for as long as the consent stands and for 12 months after it is withdrawn.

6. Who else sees it

The same providers that host and run the rest of our service, listed in section 6 of the Privacy Policy, plus the listing-data service that reads public Google listings for us. We do not sell or share it with anyone else.

7. Your right to object, and how to stop hearing from us

You can object to us holding or using this information at any time, and we will stop. You do not need to give a reason.

You also have the rights of access, correction and erasure described in section 8 of the Privacy Policy, and the right to complain to the ICO (section 9 there). We respond within 30 days.
